Application
The AM-210 amplifier has been designed for outdoor use as a mast device. It is used for signal amplification to a level required by several receivers. The amplifier is equipped with two outputs, enabling to create two distribution lines (one of the outputs is set 15 dB lower than the main output). Due to the fact that the device has to be fed with 12 V voltage, it must be remembered to use the proper power source, e.g. ZS12/100 D0010, equipped with RF/DC separator. It can be also powered via coax cable from some used within an installation amplifier e.g. CA-215 R90461. The AM-210 amplifier permits an additional UHF preamplifier to be pass-trough powered. Valuable feature of this model is low noise figure.
Installation and security notes
AM-112 amplifiers are fed through a coaxial cable with 12 V voltage, from a stabilized power supply with DC separator e.g. ZS12/100 D0010. The amplifier is designed for mast mounting, and it can work in open spaces. To avoid any possible damage the power should not be switched on until all connections have been properly made. Except mentioned above amplifier CA-215 (R90461) another one can also power the amplifier via the coax, on condition that it is of 12V family and is able to provide minimum 60 mA. Optional preamplifier can be put into UHF path and pass-through powered, up to 50 mA (the BIII input is not anticipated for such purpose).
